Our opening times are Monday to Friday Lunch 12-3pm , Monday to Saturday evenings 6-Midnight & Sunday 12- 6pm. We can serve other times with prior engagement.

The Orb presents a well-appointed fine dining restaurant serving modern British and European cuisine. Our experienced team insists on using only the freshest ingredients sourced locally wherever possible.

Our dishes are carefully prepared and cooked to order.

The beef we use is always British as well as the lamb, we source our free range pork from Blythburgh, Suffolk, fresh fish from Billingsgate, is delivered 5-days a week.

Our menu changes regularly to respect the season and the availability of  fresh ingredients, dishes such as slow braised Gloucester Old Spot Pork Belly on Bubble & Squeak, served with  Fresh fennel, miniature turnips & local carrots with a Caramelised Apple Puree, and an addlestones Somerset cider sauce, and Pan seared Fillet of Gilt Head Bream bonne femme, served on a Bacon, Pea, onion, stuffed Cabbage parcel,  with a tomato & Fenugreek Broth & a herb oil drizzle.

 

The Orb offers an extensive range of house wines and special reserve fine wines, champagnes and port from all around the world, the wines are carefully selected for your pleasure.

The Orb Restaurant is part a small select collection of special gastro venues which include the Michelin Guide recommended, Woodman's Arms in Thundersley, the trendiest pub in Billericay The Crown, and the traditional classic country pub The Barge Inn at Battlebridge.
